Angeline Breaks Ground on The Social, a New Amenity Center for the Community
A new gathering place is officially underway.
On September 1st, Metro Development Group representatives and Pasco County leaders came together for a ceremonial groundbreaking at Angeline, marking the start of construction on The Social, the community’s newest amenity center. The milestone was covered by Tampa Bay Beacons, which was on-site for the celebration.
What’s Coming to The Social
The event celebrated the groundbreaking for The Social, Angeline’s newest amenity coming late next year, featuring a tot lot, resort-style pool, pickleball courts, and a dog park. Located off the corner of Sunlake Boulevard and Topsail Hill Avenue, The Social builds on the health and wellness principles Angeline was founded on, giving residents even more ways to stay active and connect.
Why Angeline?
Angeline was always envisioned as more than a place to live. Since Metro acquired the 6,200-acre property in 2018, the community has grown into a true town in northern Land O’ Lakes, now home to hundreds of families, the Angeline Academy of Innovation, and a welcome center anchored by a community garden. The Social is the next chapter in that growth, adding another layer of connection for a community expected to reach about 35,000 residents at full build-out.
