2025: A Year of Headlines, Growth, and Continued Recognition

2025 was a defining year for Metro Development Group, marked by national rankings, major community openings, award-winning homes, and innovative programs that strengthened our partnerships across Florida. National Rankings Reinforce Metro’s Strength

In 2025, Metro’s flagship communities once again earned recognition among the nation’s top-selling master-planned communities.

Mirada ranked #14 nationally, while Angeline ranked #37 nationally in the annual report from RCLCO.

Additional recognition came from John Burns Real Estate Consulting, where Mirada ranked #12 nationally and Angeline ranked #27 nationally among top-selling master-planned communities.

These rankings highlight continued demand, strong absorption, and the enduring appeal of Metro’s lifestyle-focused communities.

Media Spotlight on Innovation

Throughout the year, Metro Development Group received significant media attention highlighting two standout initiatives.

At Angeline, our community farm continued to generate coverage for its forward-thinking approach to sustainability, education, and resident engagement—demonstrating how agriculture can serve as both an amenity and a community anchor.

Meanwhile, the Skymor build-to-rent neighborhood at Southshore Bay drew headlines for addressing evolving housing demand. As professionally managed rental homes within lifestyle-driven communities gain traction, Metro remains at the forefront of delivering flexible housing solutions within thoughtfully designed environments.

Opening New Communities and Expanding Out Footprint

2025 was also a year of expansion.

We officially opened Sandal Key, bringing new residential opportunities and lifestyle-driven planning to Hernando County.

We also launched Diamond Springs, marking Metro Development Group’s expansion into the Jacksonville market and representing an exciting new chapter in our strategic growth across Florida.

Each new community reflects Metro’s continued commitment to responsible growth, innovative amenities, and long-term placemaking.

The Opening of Brightwater Lagoon

A major amenity milestone in 2025 was the grand opening of the Brightwater Lagoon, bringing Metro’s signature lagoon lifestyle to North Fort Myers. The opening further solidified Metro Development Group’s reputation for delivering resort-style water amenities that redefine everyday living and serve as dynamic social hubs within our communities.

Award-winning Builder Partners

Metro Development Group celebrated strong performances at both the Suncoast Builders Association and Tampa Bay Builders Association 2025 Parade of Homes competitions.

At Seaire, award-winning homes by Dream Finders Homes and DRB Group were recognized across multiple price categories, with DRB earning Grand Winner and Best in Class honors in Tampa Bay. Dream Finders Homes also received recognition at Angeline.

Metro additionally congratulated Perry Homes, a new builder partner and future participant at Seaire, for earning the prestigious Grand Diamond Winner award at the Tampa Bay Parade. These honors reflect the strength of Metro’s builder partnerships and the quality of homes delivered across our communities.

Strengthening Realtor Relationships: The Metro MVP Program

In 2025, Metro officially launched the Metro MVP Realtor Program, a year-long initiative designed to reward and engage Realtor partners across Angeline, Sandal Key, Seaire, and Southshore Bay.

Running through March 2026, the program allows Realtors to earn points through home sales and participation in qualified builder and developer events, with monthly prizes announced at Angeline Realtor Connect. The program culminates in major grand prizes, including a new car, a luxury trip, and an EV cart.

The high-energy kickoff event drew strong attendance and set the tone for a program focused not only on incentives, but also on education, connection, and long-term partnership.

Tour & Score with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Metro continued to engage homebuyers in creative ways through our Tour & Score program, powered by our partnership with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The initiative encouraged prospective buyers to tour Metro communities while creating added excitement through prize opportunities.

The 2025 campaign culminated with the giveaway of an electric vehicle golf cart, further amplifying community engagement and reinforcing Metro’s commitment to innovative, experience-driven marketing.
