The four current Metro Places communities in the Tampa Bay area – Sereno, Waterleaf and Park Creek in southern Hillsborough County, and Union Park in Pasco County – represent state-of-the-art master-planned community development.
The communities combine the natural beauty of the environment with exciting technology. As an example, Metro Places’ ULTRAFi provides its communities with the fastest internet and WiFi speeds in the country, with up to one gigabit of speed. Each residence is prewired to be a smart home, allowing homeowners to control a variety of their in-home systems from remote locations.

Metro Places calls the community amenities “Elements,” and each community has among those Elements an open air Florida-style clubhouse with outdoor furniture and bar areas, near an oversized resort-style pool, with zero entry and a deck with ULTRAFi WiFi access. Meanwhile, the Metro Places trails offer the opportunity for families to explore the outdoors by walking, running or riding bikes, while a shaded “tot lot” gives younger kids a fun, cool place to be outside without getting sunburned.

Union Park, in Wesley Chapel, with homes ranging from two to seven bedrooms and prices from the low $200s to the high $400s. The builders include David Weekley, Homes by WestBay, LH Collection by Lennar, Ryland Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes and D. R. Horton coming soon.
Sereno, located in Southern Hillsborough County and also Metro Places’ newest community, features courts for basketball, tennis and pickle ball, a popular outdoor activity for adults. The homes range from two to seven bedrooms, with builders Centex, Express Homes by D. R. Horton, K. Hovnanian Homes, Lennar and Maronda Homes coming soon. Home prices in the $180s.
Waterleaf, in Riverview, with homes ranging from the $200s to the $500s and three to seven bedrooms. The builders include David Weekley, Homes by WestBay, LH Collection by Lennar, Standard Pacific Homes and Meritage Homes.
Park Creek, also in Riverview, with homes ranging from three to five bedrooms and prices starting below the $200s. Builders include D.R. Horton and Adams Homes.

As for the future, Metro is planning four Florida locations for its Metro Lagoons, the first Crystal Lagoons in the United States. These large lagoons, the size of seven to 10 football fields each, will feature sparkling, clean water, an adjacent beach and an array of watersports activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, slides and swimming.
The first Metro Lagoon will be in a new Metro Places community in Pasco County called Epperson. The lagoons have been extremely popular in other locations such as Chile, Mexico, Peru, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Argentina and Dubai, and Metro Places will be the first to offer the lagoons in the United States.
