Gigabit community plans featured in Broadband Communities Magazine
Metro Development Group was recently featured in Broadband Communities Magazine for its Connected City Corridor in Pasco County, FL that will be based on gigabit internet connectivity and establishes the first smart gigabit community built from the ground up. Greg Singleton, President, and Kartik Goyani, Vice President, spoke with Broadband about Metro’s deep involvement in the 7,800-acre special planning district (where Metro owns 2,500 acres), and the types of technology-based businesses and jobs it will attract.
In addition to bringing businesses into the area, the development will feature single-family and multifamily housing, miles of trials, public WiFi spots, and many amenities based on gigabit technology, such as personal electric vehicles and intelligent traffic systems.
